Rangan was busy with urgent report. His toddler son came crying saying “Daddy, daddy, come with me quickly”. He ignored the boy and continued with his work.
The boy raised the volume of crying and said “Daddy,
listen to me”
“Idiot, don’t you see I am busy? If you don’t go out,
I will beat you blue”
Rangan gave a whack and the child stood wailing at the
door telling ‘Mom has fainted in kitchen and gas is burning big. I am afraid for
mom.”
“You fool, why didn’t you tell me quickly?
Nice drabble. The poor little boy is concerned as well as concerned. Parents should always listen to children rather than asking them to shut up.
